Board of Directors
PAE is guided by a very experienced and diversely-talented Board of Directors. The Board consists of six directors, of which four are independent and non-executive directors. These directors help PAE in strategic postioning, decision-making and long-term value-generation for its shareowners. The Board also encourages the company to exceed corporate governance norms that than what are applicable.

Arvind R. Doshi - Executive Chairman
Mr. Doshi was appointed Chairman & Managing Director of PAE Ltd. in July 1999, prior to which he was Managing Director of Premier Automobiles Ltd. Mr. Doshi has over 45 years of rich experience in managing businesses in various industries, including infrastructure, construction, engineering, finance and automobiles. He holds several leadership positions in religious and charitable organizations and has been an independent director on several publicly-listed companies. He is the recipient of the prestigious Dadabhai Naoroji International Award for Excellence and Achievement. Mr. Doshi was also a member of the 2nd National Commission on Labour, Government of India. He has a diploma in Business Management and Civil and Sanitary Engineering from the University of Bombay.

Pritam A. Doshi - Managing Director
Mr. Doshi joined PAE Ltd. in August 2000 as Vice President – Corporate Development. Prior to joining PAE, Mr. Doshi worked with several different companies in the U.S. including Trident Capital (venture capital), HSBC Securities, Inc. (private placements) and Raymond James & Associates, Inc. (equity research). Mr. Doshi completed his MBA in Finance and General Management from University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business with Dean’s List Honours where he also was the recipient of the Kauffman Entrepreneurship Scholarship. Mr. Doshi also has an engineering degree in BioEngineering from University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Doshi is fluent in Japanese.

Dilip J. Thakkar - Director
Mr. Thakkar was appointed Director of PAE Ltd. in September 2000. Mr. Thakkar is an eminent Chartered Accountant and Partner of M/s. Jayantilal Thakkar & Associates, Mumbai. Mr. Thakkar has sound knowledge of accountancy and corporate governance. Mr. Thakkar has extensively travelled abroad in the course of his professional practice. He specializes in Foreign Exchange Management Act and extensively advises Non-Resident Indians, Overseas Corporations and large Indian companies on investments and planning. Mr. Thakkar is an independent Director in several respected publicly-listed companies.

Dr. Rajendra Nath Mehrotra - Director
Dr. Mehrotra was appointed Director of PAE Ltd. in October 2007. Dr. Mehrotra was the Senior Specialist on Employers’ Activities for South Asia with the International Labour Organisation (ILO). Prior to which, Dr. Mehrotra worked for fifteen years for Novartis India Ltd. as Vice-President and member of the Executive Committee. During his tenure there, he headed several functions. For 24 years, he has lectured at the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies. He is currently also an independent director on the Board of Novartis India Ltd. Dr. Mehrotra is an Electrical and Mechanical Engineer with a Masters and a PhD in Management from the University of Mumbai.

John Band - Director
Mr. Band was appointed Director of PAE Ltd. in June 2002. Mr. Band is currently a private equity investors in various businesses in India, prior to which he was the Chief Executive of ASK-Raymond James & Associates Ltd., a merchant banking and stock-broking company. Mr. Band, a native of Manchester, England has a M.A. in Economics from Cambridge University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.

Karthikeyan Muthuswamy - Director
Mr. Karthikeyan was appointed Director of PAE Ltd in April 2005. He is the Chief Advisor for South Asia region to Elliot Advisors, one of the oldest and most respected hedge funds managing several billion dollars worth of assets. Prior to advising Elliot, he was the Fund Manager for M3 Investments managing a large, private fund. Mr. Karthikeyan has extensive experience in finance, investments and strategy. Mr. Karthikeyan is a Chartered Financial Analyst and has a BBA from University of Madras.
